The Three Lakes of Ladakh Motorcycle Tour

Mig La & Umling La | The World’s Highest Himalayan Passes | Pangong, Tso Moriri & Tso Kar

Few places on Earth offer motorcycle adventures as spectacular as Ladakh, a remote high-altitude region in northern India often referred to as the “Land of High Passes.” Surrounded by the towering ranges of the Himalayas and Karakoram, Ladakh presents an extraordinary landscape of vast plateaus, deep gorges and turquoise mountain lakes that attract riders from all over the world. Our Three Lakes of Ladakh Motorcycle Tour is designed as a true Himalayan expedition, combining legendary high-altitude roads with the cultural heritage of Tibetan Buddhism. Over the course of two unforgettable weeks, you will ride a Royal Enfield motorcycle across some of the most dramatic terrain in the Himalayas while exploring ancient monasteries, traditional villages and remote high-mountain valleys.

A defining highlight of this journey is the opportunity to conquer the highest motorable passes on the planet. The route includes the recently opened Mig La Pass (5,913m), currently considered the highest road in the world – provided it is accessible to the public, as well as the famous Umling La Pass (5,883 m) and the legendary Khardung La Pass (5,604m). These extreme high-altitude crossings place this tour among the most ambitious motorcycle adventures in the Himalayas. The journey also takes us to the three most beautiful high-altitude lakes of Ladakh. At more than 4,500 meters above sea level, the shimmering waters of Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri, and Tso Kar create some of the most breathtaking scenery in the entire Himalayan region. Riding between these remote lakes across vast plateaus and high passes is an experience unlike any other motorcycle tour.

Beyond the dramatic landscapes, Ladakh is also a land of deep spiritual traditions. Influenced by Tibetan Buddhism, the region is home to centuries-old monasteries such as Hemis, Thiksey, and Lamayuru, where prayer flags flutter in the mountain winds and monks continue ancient religious practices. Our route also leads through the remarkable Nubra Valley, a high-altitude desert where sand dunes and Bactrian camels contrast dramatically with snow-covered peaks. Riding through the mighty gorges carved by the Indus and Shyok rivers, we discover landscapes that feel closer to another planet than to northern India.

With more than three decades of expedition experience in Ladakh, this tour has been carefully refined to offer the most spectacular combination of routes, passes and cultural highlights. The itinerary includes twelve riding days and thirteen high Himalayan passes, creating one of the most comprehensive Ladakh motorcycle tours available.

To make the journey as smooth as possible, the tour begins with a direct domestic flight from Delhi to Leh, allowing riders to start their adventure directly in the heart of Ladakh without long overland transfers. For motorcyclists seeking the ultimate Himalayan experience, the Three Lakes of Ladakh Motorcycle Tour delivers an extraordinary blend of challenging mountain riding, remote landscapes and authentic Himalayan culture.

I had …

… a lot of fun on the tour. We got along well within the group and the guides were also very nice. The tour was very well organized.

Tibetmoto Tours …

… has put together a very nice tour with a lot of variety, huge gorges and wide mountain views. The tour was a lot of fun in the group and I’m already looking forward to the next tour with Tibetmoto!

Mark B.

The bikes …

… were very easy to ride on the tour. The winding roads in the gorge and on the mountains were easy for an experienced driver like me and were a lot of fun. For that alone I would book the tour again.

Winfired W.

It’s been …

… a long time since I found such a well-organized tour as this one. The many highlights, such as the city of Lijiang or the deep Tiger Leaping Gorge, were just as worth seeing as the biggest prayer wheel in the world in Shangri-La. But my personal highlight was spending the night with a Tibetan family. Excellent!

Ladakh 3 Lakes Motorcycle Tour – Itinerary

Day 1: Flight to Leh* and acclimatization in the Himalayas

Your Ladakh motorcycle adventure begins with a spectacular flight into the Himalayan mountains. The aircraft approaches Leh Airport, one of the highest commercial airports in the world, offering breathtaking aerial views of snow-covered peaks and vast high-altitude landscapes. Located at an altitude of approximately 3,524 meters, Leh lies in a wide valley surrounded by the towering ranges of the Himalayas and Karakoram. For centuries this historic town served as an important trading hub along the ancient caravan routes connecting Tibet, Central Asia and northern India. Precious goods such as silk, cashmere wool, brocade fabrics and spices once passed through the bustling markets of the old town.

Upon arrival at the airport, a driver from our tour hotel will welcome you and transfer you to the centrally located Hotel Bijoo in Leh. The remainder of the day is intentionally relaxed to allow your body to gradually adapt to the altitude. In the afternoon we take a short walk through Leh, including a visit to the beautiful Shanti Stupa, a white Buddhist monument overlooking the city. From here we enjoy panoramic views across the Indus Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges — an inspiring first impression of the landscapes that await us during the coming days of this Himalayan motorcycle expedition. In the evening we gather for a welcome dinner in the hotel garden, where you will meet your guide and fellow riders while receiving a short briefing about the route and the adventure ahead.

Distance covered: airport transfer only

Day 2: Royal Enfield Warm-Up Ride to Hemis and Thiksey Monasteries

After breakfast we begin our first riding stage of this Ladakh motorcycle tour. Today’s ride serves as an ideal warm-up and acclimatization day, allowing us to become familiar with the Royal Enfield motorcycles while adjusting gradually to the altitude of the Himalayas. Leaving Leh, we follow the scenic road through the upper Indus Valley, one of the most fertile and historic regions of Ladakh. Green fields, small villages and snow-covered peaks create a striking contrast to the otherwise rugged high-altitude landscape.

Our first destination is the famous Hemis Monastery, the largest and most important monastery in Ladakh. Founded in the 10th century, Hemis belongs to the Drukpa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and is closely associated with the renowned Buddhist master Naropa. Surrounded by mountain slopes and fluttering prayer flags, the monastery offers a fascinating introduction to Ladakh’s spiritual traditions.

After exploring the monastery complex we continue riding along the Indus Valley toward Thiksey Monastery, one of the most photogenic monasteries in the region. Its tiered white buildings climb the hillside in a structure often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. From the terraces of the monastery we enjoy sweeping views across the Indus Valley and the surrounding Himalayan mountains.
This relaxed riding stage allows us to adapt to the altitude while enjoying the first curves and mountain scenery of our Himalayan motorcycle adventure. In the afternoon we return to Leh, where the remainder of the day is free to relax, explore the town or prepare for the more demanding riding days ahead.

Distance covered: approx. 90 km

Day 3: Indus Valley Ride and the Zanskar Gorge

Today the real Ladakh motorcycle adventure begins as we leave Leh and ride westward along the historic Indus Valley, one of the most important cultural and geographic corridors of the Himalayan region. The route follows the mighty Indus River, which has shaped this landscape for thousands of years. The wide valley gradually gives way to dramatic high-altitude scenery where barren mountains, deep gorges and small green oasis villages contrast with the surrounding desert landscape of Ladakh.

One of the highlights of the day is the ride toward the impressive Zanskar Gorge, where the powerful Zanskar Rivercuts through towering rock walls. This remote region once formed part of the independent Himalayan kingdom of Zanskar and remains one of the least populated areas of Ladakh. We ride deep into the valley to the small village oasis of Chilling, where the surrounding mountains and the turquoise river create a spectacular Himalayan setting. Only a few thousand people live in this vast region, which is accessible for only part of the year due to the extreme winter conditions.

Continuing our journey, we visit the historic ruins of the Basgo royal palace, once an important stronghold of Ladakh’s former rulers. Nearby we stop at Likir Monastery, famous for its large golden statue of the Maitreya Buddha, often called the “Snake Buddha” by travelers. From here our route climbs onto smaller mountain roads leading toward the quiet villages of Yangthang and Hemis Shukpachen, known for its ancient sacred juniper forest. The ride through this remote valley is one of the most scenic stages of the entire tour.

By late afternoon we reach the charming village of Alchi, located at around 3,200 meters above sea level. Here we stay in a beautiful boutique hotel surrounded by apricot orchards, just a short walk from the famous Alchi Monastery, one of the oldest and most remarkable Buddhist temples in Ladakh. Dinner is served in the garden restaurant of the hotel, where we enjoy our first evening surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of the Indian Himalayas.

Distance covered: approx. 190 km

Day 4: Exploring the Aryan Culture

Today’s ride takes us deeper into the western reaches of Ladakh, following the course of the Indus River into one of the most culturally unique regions of the Himalayas. Leaving the main road behind, we ride along winding mountain roads that lead into the remote Aryan Valley, a spectacular landscape of rugged mountains, terraced fields and small traditional villages. This little-visited region offers breathtaking views across the Indus Valley and provides an authentic glimpse into rural life in Ladakh.

The Aryan Valley is home to the Brokpa people, a distinct ethnic group believed by some historians to be descendants of ancient Indo-Aryan tribes. Local traditions even link their origins to soldiers from the army of Alexander the Great, although the true history of the Brokpa remains partly mysterious. Today only a few thousand people still belong to this unique community. The Brokpa maintain their own language, clothing traditions and cultural practices, which differ significantly from the Tibetan Buddhist culture found elsewhere in Ladakh.

Many families here continue to live from agriculture and livestock farming, relying on goats and sheep for milk, wool and meat. Seasonal festivals and agricultural life follow a traditional solar calendar, reflecting centuries-old customs that are still preserved in these isolated mountain villages. Tonight we stay in a comfortable camp-style accommodation in the Aryan Valley, surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of the western Himalayas. Spending the evening among the local community offers a rare opportunity to experience one of the most distinctive cultures in the entire Ladakh region.

Distance covered: approx. 180 km

Day 5: “Moonland of Ladakh” & Lamayuru Monastery

Today’s stage takes us through some of the most dramatic landscapes of the Indian Himalayas. After leaving the Aryan Valley, we follow quiet mountain roads through rugged terrain where towering rock formations and deep valleys create unforgettable scenery. Our first stop is the impressive ruins of the historic Chiktan fortress, once a nine-storey royal residence overlooking the surrounding valley. From here the route continues through remote mountain villages and wide high-altitude landscapes that perfectly capture the feeling of a true Ladakh motorcycle adventure.

Soon we reach our first mountain crossing of the day, Namika La Pass (3,700 m), followed by a spectacular ride into the secluded Kanji Valley. The road then climbs steadily in a series of dramatic switchbacks toward Fotu La Pass (4,005 m), the highest point on the historic Srinagar–Leh highway. Descending from the pass, one of the cultural highlights of the journey appears ahead: the legendary Lamayuru Monastery. Perched high above the valley on a rocky hillside, this ancient monastery is one of the oldest and most important Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh.

The surrounding landscape is equally remarkable. Strange rock formations and eroded cliffs give the region its famous nickname, the “Moonland of Ladakh.” The unusual geology creates an almost lunar landscape that is unlike anywhere else in the Himalayas. After exploring the monastery and enjoying the views across the valley, we ride back toward Leh, following scenic mountain roads through remote villages and vast high-altitude terrain. By the afternoon we arrive back in Leh, where the evening is free to relax and prepare for the next major stage of the Ladakh motorcycle tour.

Distance covered: approx. 210 km

Day 6: Khardung La Pass and the Descent into Nubra Valley

Today we tackle one of the most legendary roads of the Himalayas. Leaving Leh, our route climbs steadily toward the famous Khardung La Pass (5,604 m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world and a dream destination for motorcyclists. The ascent to Khardung La is one of the most exciting stages of this Ladakh motorcycle tour. The road winds through countless switchbacks while the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic as we gain altitude. At the summit we reach an Indian Army checkpoint and a small mountain temple. Riders traditionally stop here for photos beside the famous sign marking the pass, celebrating the achievement of reaching one of the most iconic high-altitude roads in the Himalayas.

From the top of the pass we begin the long descent into the spectacular Nubra Valley. Over nearly 2,600 meters of elevation change, the barren mountain slopes gradually give way to the surprising green oasis landscapes of the valley floor. The Nubra Valley lies at an altitude of just under 3,000 meters and forms part of the historic trade route connecting Ladakh with Central Asia. Wide river plains, fertile farmland and dramatic mountain scenery create a striking contrast to the harsh high-altitude environment we have just crossed.

Our destination for the day is the oasis village of Hunder, famous for its unusual sand dunes and Bactrian camels. Surrounded by lush gardens and poplar trees, our hotel provides a peaceful setting in the middle of the valley. Later we ride further north toward Panamik, where natural hot springs offer a relaxing break with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. From this area it is sometimes possible to glimpse the distant Siachen Glacier, located in the eastern Karakoram Range and known as the second-longest glacier outside the polar regions. In the evening we return to our accommodation in the Nubra Valley, enjoying dinner surrounded by the quiet beauty of this remarkable high-altitude desert.

Distance covered: approx. 210 km

Day 7: Sand dunes & camels in the Nubra Valley

Today we continue exploring the fascinating landscapes of the Nubra Valley, one of the most remarkable regions of Ladakh. Surrounded by towering mountain ranges, this high-altitude valley combines desert landscapes, fertile river plains and ancient monasteries. In the morning there is the option to join an extended ride along the Shyok River, following a quiet mountain road deeper into the western Nubra Valley. The route leads toward remote settlements near India’s northern frontier, offering spectacular views across the rugged peaks of the Karakoram mountain range. Riders who prefer a slower pace can instead relax at the hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the valley oasis.

Later in the day we visit the historic Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in the Nubra region. The monastery sits high above the valley and is famous for its enormous Maitreya Buddha statue, which overlooks the Nubra Valley and the Shyok River. From this impressive viewpoint we enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding desert landscape before descending toward the famous sand dunes of Hunder. This surreal landscape of rolling dunes is home to the rare double-humped Bactrian camels, once used by traders traveling along the ancient Silk Road routes through Central Asia.

Those who wish can take a short camel ride across the dunes, while others may prefer to explore the oasis village or simply relax in the tranquil surroundings. In the evening we return to our hotel in Hunder, where dinner is served in the garden beneath the clear Himalayan sky.

Distance covered: approx. 230 km

Old bridge alley in Lijiang

Day 8: Cruisin’ over Wari La Pass to Shakti & Boutique Blues

Today’s ride takes us from the Nubra region back toward the highlands east of Leh. Following the course of the Shyok River, we ride through wide mountain valleys before beginning the ascent toward the remote Wari La Pass (5,312 m). This recently opened mountain road is one of the most scenic and less-traveled routes of the entire Ladakh motorcycle tour. The climb toward the summit requires concentration as the narrow road winds through steep slopes and high mountain terrain. At the top of the pass we are rewarded with spectacular views across the rugged landscapes of the eastern Himalayas.

After descending from the pass, we enter the peaceful Shakti Valley, a beautiful rural region characterized by traditional villages, green fields and fruit orchards. Here life moves at a slower pace, offering a glimpse into authentic village life in Ladakh. During the afternoon we visit two remarkable Buddhist monasteries overlooking the valley. Taktok Monastery, built partly into a rocky cliff, is one of the few monasteries in Ladakh belonging to the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. Nearby stands the impressive Chemrey Monastery, a striking white complex perched high above the valley and known for its impressive architecture and prayer halls.

Our accommodation for the night is a charming boutique lodge in Shakti, surrounded by apple trees and quiet mountain scenery. After several intense riding days, this peaceful location provides the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of rural Ladakh.

Distance covered: approx. 140 km

Day 9: The Azure Blue Pangong Tso Lake

Today we ride toward one of the most spectacular destinations in Ladakh — the famous Pangong Lake, known for its striking turquoise colors and dramatic high-altitude setting. Leaving the Shakti Valley behind, the road begins to climb steadily toward Chang La Pass (5,360 m), one of the highest motorable passes in the Himalayas. The ascent is lined with colorful prayer flags and offers increasingly dramatic views of the surrounding mountain landscapes.

After crossing the pass, we descend along a rugged mountain road toward the vast plateau where Pangong Tso suddenly appears on the horizon. The lake stretches across the border between India and Tibet (China) and lies at an altitude of approximately 4,360 meters. The first glimpse of the lake’s shimmering blue waters is unforgettable. Depending on the light and weather conditions, the colors of the lake shift from deep blue to turquoise and emerald green.
Our overnight stay is in the quiet village of Merak, located directly on the lakeshore. From our accommodation we enjoy magnificent views across the vast expanse of the lake and the surrounding mountains. In the afternoon there is time to explore the shoreline, take short walks along the lake or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this remote Himalayan landscape. The brave may even attempt a swim in the icy saltwater of Pangong Lake. Nearby you may also encounter Tibetan nomads who spend part of the year in this region with their herds of yaks and goats. As evening falls, the setting sun casts golden light across the lake and the surrounding mountains — one of the most memorable moments of the entire Ladakh motorcycle adventure.

Distance covered: approx. 180 km

Day 10: From Pangong Lake to Hanle and the Road Toward Umling La

After a memorable morning beside Pangong Lake, we continue our Ladakh motorcycle tour across the vast high-altitude landscapes of eastern Ladakh. The road follows the shoreline for a while before we turn inland toward the remote border regions near Tibet. Soon the climb begins again as we cross a series of spectacular Himalayan passes. Today’s route includes the Thato La Pass (4,936 m) and the Namshang La Pass (5,050 m), both offering magnificent views across the barren mountain plateaus of Ladakh.

Riding through this region feels like travelling across the roof of the world. Endless horizons, wind-sculpted hills and remote valleys create one of the most dramatic landscapes of the entire Himalayan motorcycle expedition. Eventually we reach the upper Indus Valley, which we follow for a short distance toward the remote village of Hanle. Located close to the Tibetan border, Hanle is known for its high-altitude observatory — one of the most important astronomical research stations in India.

Hanle also serves as the starting point for one of the most extraordinary roads in the world. From here the route leads toward Umling La, currently one of the highest motorable passes on Earth. The anticipation builds as we prepare for tomorrow’s ride to the roof of the world. Tonight we stay in a simple guesthouse in Hanle, surrounded by vast open landscapes and some of the clearest night skies in the Himalayas.

Distance covered: approx. 190 km

Day 11: Umling La and Mig La: Riding to the Highest Roads in the World

Today is one of the most extraordinary stages of the entire Ladakh motorcycle tour. Shortly after breakfast we set out from Hanle toward the remote border region between Ladakh and Tibet, where some of the highest motorable roads on Earth await. The road climbs steadily across the vast Himalayan plateau as we approach the legendary Umling La Pass (5,883 m). Riding at this altitude is a unique experience — the air becomes thinner, the landscape more barren and the horizon seemingly endless. At the summit we take a well-earned break and enjoy a hot tea while standing on one of the highest roads in the world.

Until recently, Umling La held the title of the highest motorable pass on Earth. Today, however, the crown belongs to the newly constructed Mig La Pass (5,913 m), which rises even higher on the remote border plateau. If the road is open to civilian traffic at the time of the tour, we will attempt this remarkable ascent as well, reaching what is currently considered the highest road in the world. This region lies within a sensitive military zone near the Tibetan frontier, and access is subject to government regulations. If conditions allow, riding to Mig La becomes one of the most unforgettable experiences of the entire Himalayan motorcycle expedition.

But the adventure does not end there. After conquering these extreme high-altitude passes we continue our route across the rugged mountain terrain toward Photi La Pass (5,525 m). Narrow mountain roads and dramatic switchbacks demand concentration, while every bend reveals new views of the remote Himalayan landscape. By evening we arrive in a small mountain village where we spend the night. Surrounded by silence, vast open plateaus and towering peaks, the sense of achievement after this remarkable riding day is unforgettable.

Distance covered: approx. 260 km

Day 12: Across the Nomad Plateau to Tso Moriri

Today we ride across one of the most remote and untouched regions of Ladakh — the vast high-altitude plateau inhabited by Tibetan nomads. This part of the journey offers a true sense of wilderness, with endless open landscapes and very little human presence. As we travel across the plateau, there is a chance to encounter small nomadic settlements, where families live in traditional tents and herd yaks, goats and sheep across the high grasslands. The scenery here is both wild and peaceful, shaped by the harsh climate of the Himalayan plateau.

Wildlife is also common in this region. With a bit of luck we may spot kiang, the wild Tibetan horse, grazing across the plains. Other rare animals such as Tibetan gazelles, wolves and even snow leopards inhabit these remote mountains, although they are rarely seen. Along the way we cross two lesser-known high mountain passes: Chagga La (4,620 m) and Salsal La, which rises to over 5,300 meters. These quiet roads are far from the main tourist routes and provide a real sense of adventure riding in the Himalayas.

In the afternoon the shimmering waters of Tso Moriri Lake appear on the horizon. Located at an altitude of around 4,522 meters, this vast high-altitude lake is considered one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Ladakh. Our accommodation is located near the small village of Korzok, overlooking the lake. Those who wish can visit Korzok Monastery or take a short walk along the lakeshore to fully appreciate the tranquility of this remarkable place. With an area of more than 100 square kilometers, Tso Moriri is the largest high-altitude lake entirely within Indian territory and forms an important wildlife reserve. As evening falls, we enjoy dinner with views across the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Distance covered: approx. 180 km

Day 13: Across the Last Highlands to Leh

Our final riding stage begins across the wide highland plains of eastern Ladakh, where the landscapes once again reveal the dramatic beauty of the Himalayan plateau. From Tso Moriri we continue through remote valleys toward the geothermal region of Puga Valley, known for its steaming sulphur hot springs and unusual mineral formations. The valley lies within the vast Changthang Plateau, one of the most sparsely populated areas of the Indian Himalayas.

The route then passes the striking salt lake Tso Kar, the third of the famous Three Lakes of Ladakh. Surrounded by vast plains and distant mountain ranges, Tso Kar is known for its quiet beauty and rich wildlife. The lake and its wetlands attract numerous migratory birds, while kiang (wild Tibetan horses) and marmots often roam the surrounding plateau. In the distance, two impressive Himalayan peaks dominate the skyline — Thugje (6,050 m) and Gursan (6,370 m) — rising above the vast landscape like silent guardians of the plateau.

Soon the road begins its final climb toward Tanglang La Pass (5,340 m), one of the highest mountain passes on the historic Leh–Manali Highway. After crossing the summit we begin a spectacular descent of nearly 2,000 meters through narrow gorges and dramatic rock formations toward the fertile Indus Valley. By early afternoon we return to Leh, where the remainder of the day is free to explore the town, visit local cafés or stroll through the historic old bazaar. In the evening we gather for a farewell dinner, celebrating the completion of one of the most extraordinary motorcycle journeys in the Himalayas.

Distance covered: approx. 280 km

Day 14: Flight to Delhi

Today we say goodbye to the mountains of Ladakh as our extraordinary Himalayan motorcycle tour comes to an end. After breakfast we transfer to Leh Airport for the return flight to Delhi, arriving around midday. As the aircraft climbs above the Himalayas, the dramatic landscapes of the past two weeks slowly disappear beneath us — the high passes, remote valleys and turquoise lakes that made this Ladakh motorcycle adventure so unforgettable. Upon arrival in Delhi, the official motorcycle tour concludes. We take with us spectacular memories, new friendships and the unique feeling of having ridden across some of the highest roads in the world.

Optional Taj Mahal Extension:

For those who would like to continue the journey, we offer an optional extension to Agra to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal.
In the afternoon we travel together by luxury bus from Delhi to Agra, a journey of approximately five hours. Agra was once the capital of the powerful Mughal Empire and remains one of India’s most historically important cities. Upon arrival we check into a luxurious five-star hotel located close to the Taj Mahal. The remainder of the afternoon is free to relax at the hotel or explore the city independently before enjoying a dinner buffet at the hotel.

Distance covered: approx. 180 km

Day 15: Optional – Visit to the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort

Early in the morning we visit the legendary Taj Mahal at sunrise, when the soft morning light and peaceful atmosphere allow us to fully appreciate one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. Built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is widely regarded as the greatest architectural masterpiece of the Mughal era and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

The route then passes the striking salt lake Tso Kar, the third of the famous Three Lakes of Ladakh. Surrounded by vast plains and distant mountain ranges, Tso Kar is known for its quiet beauty and rich wildlife. After breakfast at the hotel we continue to the impressive Red Fort of Agra, a massive Mughal fortress built from red sandstone that once served as the imperial residence of the Mughal rulers. Later we return to New Delhi by bus. Before heading to the airport, we make a final stop at the Royal Enfield flagship store, a fitting conclusion to this unforgettable motorcycle journey. In the evening we gather for a final farewell dinner before transferring to New Delhi International Airport, where the tour officially concludes. The detailed program of this optional extension can be provided separately.

Serious altitude sickness is very rare on our tours. Mild symptoms such as headaches or dizziness can occur while the body adjusts to the altitude. We recommend discussing altitude medication such as acetazolamide with your doctor before travelling.
