Many of China’s major attractions are explored in this five-day excursion, such as the Terracotta Army of the First Emperor of China and the Hua Shan Mountain, which is the highest of the five sacred mountains of China. We will get to see the focal point of Chinese culture, the Longmen Grottoes, as well as visit the world renowned Shao Ling Si monastery, where hundreds of martial arts Shaolin monks can be observed performing their duties.

Daily itinerary: Travel module to Xi’an and the surrounding area

Day	Route: Description
1	Arrival in Xi’an: You’ll be provided with an arrival and pick-up service straight from the airport, after which you will be transferred to a hotel and allowed some free time for settling in and making yourself comfortabl. We will have a Bicycletour (between 1,5 and 2 hours- 14 kilometers with average speed) along the wall and will visit the gates of the wall. Visit of the Goose Pagode and the Muslim Street (if we find enough time, otherwise we will do it the other day)
2	Xi’an Visit: Drive to the terracotta army and visit of the archaeological site. We will hear about the historical facts. The lunch contains local specialties. Afterwards visit of the shanxi museum. Transfer back to the hotel.
3	Xi’an – Hua Shan – Xi’an: In the morning we will drive to the Hua Shan Mountain where we take the capleway up to the mountain. You will have the whole day to explore all sides of the mountain (northmountain, Southmountain, Eastmountain, Westmountain). After the sunset with the capleway down to the ground of the mountain. Hike with about 4-6 hours. Overnight in the Hilton Hotel of Xi’an.
4	Xi’an – Luoyang: Drive with the express train to Luoyang. Visit of the Longmen caves from the 5.century in 12 kilomenter south from Luoyang. The numerous sculptured Buddha-statues in the caves are the oldest testimonies of the chinese culture along the shore ofthe yellow river. These spectacular impressions will show us the unique culture of this region which also know as the beginning of the chinese culture.
5	Luoyang – Shaolin Tempel – Abreise: Breakfast and drive to the famous Kung Fu Monastry Shao Ling Si. Today they still train hundrets of pupils from all around the world. You will see a Kung Fu Show in the Shaolin-Temple. In the End of your Tour we will give you a transfert to the airport of Luoyang or Zhengzhou. Flight back home or extension of the tour mit other destination components.
