The route will start in Kunming and brings us to the first station to „Shillin“, about 120km away, which is also well known as the Stone Forrest of China. The huge fascinating karst stone forms will invite us to a wonder of nature. On the same day you will explore the architectural remarkable oldtown of Jianshui where you can find the second largest Confuzian Temple among other traditional monuments. Last but not least the Rice Terraces of Yuanyuan will present to you a highlight of entire China with its fabulous play of colours.

| 2 | Kunming – Stone Forest – Jianshui: On the way to Jianshui you will visit the famous Stone Forest 90 kilometers away from Kunming city. The karst stones form a unique landscape and you guide will show you the area few tourists walk through.
After arriving in Jianshui a visit of the astonishing old town is planned: a short walking tour brings you to the main sights: you will visit of the historic old town gates of Jianshui and the second largest Confucian Temple (Wenmiao) of China. | 3 | Jianshui – Yuanyang: Jianshui – Yuanyang: From Jianshui the road leads you directly into the world famous rice terraces of Yuanyang. Enjoy the views all the way to Shengcun, where you will spend the night. Your driver will stop at several view points and especially the sunset overlooking the rice terraces is truly amazing.
