The ride to Everest Base Camp is considered achievable for most riders with previous road riding experience. Road conditions on the main routes are generally good, although riders should be prepared for high altitude, changing weather conditions and occasional mountain roads. The biggest challenge is usually the altitude rather than the riding itself.
